In using the ReelUs platform through www.ReelUs.com ("website") and the mobile/tablet application ("app") you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions:
The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements: "Client", “User”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing the ReelUs platform and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. "The Company", " Our", “Ourselves”, “We”, “Us”, “Platform” and "ReelUs", refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties” refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.
1.0 Privacy Statement
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Authorized employees within the company on a need to know basis only use any information collected from individual users. We constantly review our systems and data to ensure the best possible service to our users. Parliament has created specific offences for unauthorised actions against computer systems and data. We will investigate any such actions with a view to prosecuting and/or taking civil proceedings to recover damages against those responsible.
We are registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 and as such, any information concerning the client and their respective client records may be passed to third parties. However, client records are regarded as confidential and therefore will not be divulged to any third party, other than Local/National law authorities if legally required to do so. Clients are requested to retain copies of any literature issued in relation to the provision of our services.
We will not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party that are not associated with ReelUs or use your e-mail address for unsolicited mail. Any emails sent by us will only be in connection with the provision of agreed services and products.
ReelUs will promote digital images and files on authorised ReelUs social media accounts to help promote users.
3.1 Exclusions and Limitations
Information on the ReelUs platform is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, this Company:
excludes all representations and warranties relating to this website and its contents or which is or may be provided by any affiliates or any other third party, including in relation to any inaccuracies or omissions in this website and/or the Company’s literature; and
excludes all liability for damages arising out of or in connection with your use of this website. This includes, without limitation, direct loss, loss of business or profits (whether or not the loss of such profits was foreseeable, arose in the normal course of things or you have advised this Company of the possibility of such potential loss), damage caused to your computer, computer software, systems and programs and the data thereon or any other direct or indirect, consequential and incidental damages.
None of your statutory rights as a consumer are affected.
ReelUs uses “Paypal” for transferring money between it's users. We aim in providing secure and safe methods for all its users to pay for digital files through “Paypal”. Sellers will be responisble for Paypal charges for every sale made under their account. Our Terms are payment is paid in full before being able to download the purchased digital file. All sales are final*. All digital files users place in the ReelUs market place are available for licencing and remain the property of the copyright/selling user. ReelUs provide a yearly subscription which is paid in full by a user wishing to take advantage of ReelUs's extra features on its platform.
*In the circumstance of a user selling illegal/unauthorised copyright material from another user or artist(s) the seller will be responsible for any refund amounts through PayPal and legal prosecution.
3.3 Subscription Cancellation Policy
Users can cancel their subscription at any time with no obligation. Cancellation will be effective until the period for which the user has paid expires (i.e. “User” buys a subscription on 20th March 2014 and cancels the subscription on 1st August 2014, the “User” will remain a subscribed user until 19th March 2015). When that period expires, user account will be returned to a free account. All features from the subscription will be removed such as custom pricing and will default to a standard rates that is used by ReelUs.
3.4 ReelUs Marketplace
We provide our users with a marketplace where users can licence their digital images (JPEG format)/files to other users. Before placing any images into the ReelUs marketplace users will need to confirm they are the legal/ original author of the uploaded digital file. Users need to ensure any uploaded files are correctly filed through their local copyright office. User's accepting to upload images/files in to the marketplace confirm that ReelUs are not held liable for any legal actions taken against the selling user. Files uploaded on the marketplace should not contain watermarks and that they are of a high quality. ReelUs aim at protecting its users files through its own watermark and reducing image quality placed on the platform. Any digital Images/Files that have been flagged up as theft, copyright infringement, abusive, or aiding in terrorist activities will be taken of the platform until the matter is looked into by the ReelUs team which could take up to 30 business days.
ReelUs will comply with national/local law authorities regarding any illegal activities being investigated on our platform.
All digital images/files placed in the ReelUs Marketplace are owned and remains the property of the copyright/selling user. ReelUs do not legally own any user content.
ReelUs offers two licences that are used for different purposes.
(i) Personal Licence, is issued when choosing to purchase a file under personal home use. The sole purpose of this licence is to allow a user to print for home use. Buyers are not licensed to do anything with the dgital image/file outside the scope of home print. This license does not allow a buyer to place an images online (publications, social networks), sell images for personal gain (e.g money). Users will be able to print up to 32 inches depending on the quality of the image up loaded by the selling user. Users should consult with their printing suppliers before printing images to ensure the prints are of a high quality. Any issues regarding quality once purchased should be discussed with the seller.
(ii) Commercial Licence, is issued for users and organisations that wish to use a digital image/file for commercial use such as advertising, editorial, publications, brochures. Buyers wanting to use a file for online purposes will need to protect the files on their respected websites to ensure that their viewers can not copy. This can be done through watermarks, reduced quality, disabling ‘Save As’ options. The sellers name and ‘ReelUs’ name should also be attached to each image.
Buyers will be held legally responsible if they break the licenced agreement between them and the seller. The seller can take legal action against buyers that break the licence. ReelUs will help national/local authorities in cases involving theft and misuse of copyright files. To reduce any legal actions buyers should choose the correct licence.
3.6 Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. Additionally, for systems administration, detecting usage patterns and troubleshooting purposes, our web servers automatically log standard access information including browser type, access times/open mail, URL requested, and referral URL. This information is not shared with third parties and is used only within this Company on a need-to-know basis. Any individually identifiable information related to this data will never be used in any way different to that stated above without your explicit permission.
3.8 Links from this platform
ReelUs is an online social community platform that encourages its users to engage with other users through images, groups, challenges and marketplace. While we work hard on stopping unauthorised links being posted on its platform we recognise that some links may find its way on to our platform. We encourage users not to click on to links that are posted within comments and a user’s description. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices, or content, of these sites. Users should evaluate the security and trustworthiness of any other site connected to this site or accessed through this site, before disclosing any personal information to them. We will not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage in whatever manner, howsoever caused, resulting from your disclosure to third parties of personal information. ReelUs will post sponsored posts by brands and company that may wish to advertise their products and services to our users. Clicking a sponsored post may contain a link which may redirect you to a product or service. We do not take any responsibility once a user leaves outside our platform.
3.9 Copyright Notice
Copyright and other relevant intellectual property rights exists on the ReelUs website and app. Users uploading digital files on to ReelUs may contain Copyright. We aim to protect user’s copyright by watermarking digital files, disabling ‘Save as’. A user that sells an unauthorised digital file that is protected by copyright laws may face legal action from the copyright holder. ReelUs will co-operate with law enforcements/ authorities regarding copyright.

The laws of England and Wales govern these terms and conditions. By accessing this website (www.ReelUs.com) and mobile/tablet applicationyou consent to these terms and conditions and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in all disputes arising out of such access. If any of these terms are deemed invalid or unenforceable for any reason (including, but not limited to the exclusions and limitations set out above), then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be severed from these terms and the remaining terms will continue to apply. Failure of the Company to enforce any of the provisions set out in these Terms and Conditions and any Agreement, or failure to exercise any option to terminate, shall not be construed as waiver of such provisions and shall not affect the validity of these Terms and Conditions or of any Agreement or any part thereof, or the right thereafter to enforce each and every provision. These Terms and Conditions shall not be amended, modified, varied or supplemented except in writing and signed by duly authorised representatives of the Company.
4.2 Notification of Changes
These terms and conditions form part of the Agreement between the Client and ourselves. Your accessing of this platform indicates your understanding, agreement to and acceptance, of the Disclaimer Notice and the full Terms and Conditions contained herein. Your statutory Consumer Rights are unaffected.
